Information we collect
We collect the details you choose to send us — your name, email or message when you make a song request, send a shout-out, contact the studio or submit an advertising enquiry. We also collect basic, non-identifying usage statistics such as page views and stream sessions.
How we use it
Your information is used to run the station: reading requests on air, replying to messages, planning programming and responding to commercial enquiries. We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and security
Submissions are stored in our secured station database with access restricted to authorised UMOJA RADIO staff accounts. Administrative actions are logged.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete any message or request you have sent by emailing umojaradio254@gmail.com. We will action reasonable requests promptly.
Cookies and analytics
We use local browser storage to remember player preferences and random anonymous browser and visit identifiers to count page visits, navigation tabs and listening activity. Reports are aggregated for authorised station staff; we do not collect names, email addresses or IP addresses for traffic reports. We respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.
